International students wishing to pursue an undergraduate degree in Hong Kong are invited to apply to scholarships at the School of Business & Management. Candidates may receive up to HK$210,000 per year. The awards may be renewed for the duration of the programme provided good academic performance. The deadline is on Tuesday 31st August 2021.
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is a public research university in Clear Water Bay Peninsula, Hong Kong. Founded in 1991 by the British Hong Kong Government, it was the territory’s third institution to be granted university status.
HKUST is commonly regarded as one of the fastest growing universities in the world.
The university offers several generous scholarships for the upcoming and continuing undergraduate students. Most of them are renewable for the duration of the bachelor’s programme.
The School of Business & Management provides stipends worth HK$ 52,500 – 210,000.
All World Bachelor in Business (WBB) applicants are considered automatically for these merit based scholarships.
There are also two general scholarships offered to Year 1 or 2 students at the School of Business & Management, School of Engineering, School of Humanities & Social Science, School of Science, and Interdisciplinary Programs Office.
They are worth HK$140,000 per year and up to HK$210,200 per year, respectively.
The deadline is on Tuesday 31st August 2021.
Selection is based on academic performance, contribution to the institution/ society, leadership, communication skills and interest in integrating into and contributing to HK society.
