The program will take place over 51 weeks starting on 1 December 2020. Participants will have their accommodation provided.

Concordia Normandie Maine offers training to volunteers in the fields of ecology and environmental awareness, the social and solidarity economy and the fight against discrimination.

They train the volunteers in project methodology, meeting facilitation and support them in their professional project.

With a team of French volunteers, the company offers you the opportunity to get involved in environmental.

This includes waste collection marches to raise awareness of selective sorting, and designing and running events for young people and adults.

You will be able to participate in the setting up of free zones, which are spaces for exchanging objects so that they can be re-used rather than thrown away.

The volunteer will live in a shared flat near to the office.

They will have their own bedroom and share the flat with two to three other volunteers.

The project will take place over a total of 51 weeks from 1 December 2020 until 30 November 2021.

Main criteria

Candidates should be between 18 and 30. Good motivation and a desire to discover another culture is necessary.

Volunteers should be comfortable working with children, teenagers and families, willing to work with young people from different nationalities and religions.

Good English skills are required, additionally, volunteers will learn French.
