In our last article we covered Seville in the region of Andalucia. This time we will write about Granada, Malaga and Jaen in the same region.
Andalucia, in the south of Spain since history has had the influence of several cultures and to this day remains the land of celebrations, music, flamenco, food, bullfighting and some of the best monuments on the planet the Alhambra being one of the greatest.
The region has many monuments dating back to the times when the region was ruled by the Moors and the celebratory environment is associated with the Gypsies who came here with their music and dance centuries ago. Even though the famous band The Gipsy Kings came from Arles and Montpellier in France they mainly performed in Andalusian Spanish since their parents were Spanish gypsies.
Malaga has some of the best beaches in the world, citadels from the Moorish times and one of the best cathedrals you will see. The city is a great combination of the ancient and the modern. With a happy atmosphere all around, you will see people of most origins and of course the tourists. The city is bright and beautiful and has sunshine most of the year and attracts its share of foreign students.
Jaen is about unspoilt natural beauty, fortresses and the cathedral. The city is also known as the capital of the world for its olive production.
Granada is the city of Alhambra which is a stupendous monument that attracts more than 2 million tourists each year, hidden gardens and friendly people.
Let us remind you that we cover public universities on account of affordability and the quality of education. Please look of each of the individual web sites to determine the courses most suited to you:

You will see many foreign students in each of the above cities and the locals are always more than ready to mingle with you. The budget for Malaga and Granada should be around 1100 to 1200 $ and in Jaen you’ll be able to get by with about a hundred dollars less. This would be inclusive of shared accommodations and exclusive of your fees.
Those who wish to work while learning find it easier to find part time jobs in Malaga.
