Three Year Old South African DJ Wows The World

An old english adage attests that "Some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them". But when you win a nationwide talent search aged just three, surely there would be something special about you. Meet South Africa Got Talent 2015 winner who hails from one of Johannesburg's impoverished township of Alexander!

Arch Jnr (aka Oratilwe Hlongwane ) is the 3-year-old Alexandra-hailing DJ who first rose to notoriety after his father began posting videos of the toddler virtuoso on YouTube in January. Touted as the “world’s youngest DJ,” Arch Junior is fast becoming something of a seasoned artist, currently boasting over 49,000 Facebook followers and, according to Pulse Radio , endorsements from Guess Kids, Beats By Dre, Mini Cooper and Djay Software.

DJ Arch Junior plays everything from deep house, standard dance and his personal favourite track… Koze Kuse.

So what is next for the ‘world’s youngest DJ’ after captivating the world with his amazing ability of spinning the decks? “We are just going to keep on doing, what we’re doing”, his father Glenn told TV station Etv.

He’s still young and there is still a lot that will happen as he grows and mature. For now, he’s still a kid and he’s just going to continue as he does. He goes to crèche and DJs because he loves it. Tomorrow is another day. I don’t think that winning will affect his life in any negative way. He has great parents and we are here to guide him,” Glen attested.
