The Yicca International Contest for Contemporary Art

Are you an artist that dabbles in the contemporary? All artists internaionally are eligible for the YICCA International Art Competition.

Mission

The goal of this international art contest for contemporary art is to promote enrolled artists, for a chance to become seen on an international art stage through the Yicca foundation. The first place winner will receive €3000,00 , and an open exhibition of their works with critics, and curators attending. The second place prize will receive €1000,00 , and will also be displayed at the exhibition.

 

Summary

The contest opened on the 25 of  June, 2021. The notification of winning artworks will be announced on the 3rd of December, 2021. From the final 18 artists participating in the exhibition will be announced first and second ranked will win the cash prizes.

The names of those two artists will be published on the official website www.yicca.org  on the last day of the exhibition.

Jury

The members of the jury’s bios will be posted onto the YICCA website before the subscription deadline. 

  • The rating scale is on a range from 1-10 points. ⅓ of the total score will be from the jury, ⅓ will be from the A.p.s. Mono association, and ⅓ will be from the hosting gallery.

 

Opportunity

The art association called Aps Moho that backs this contest, has many years of experience in art promotion involving young people across Europe. They host both competitions and artistic events, based out of Milan, Italy.

 

Eligibility/Criteria

  • No special qualifying factors are necessary for entry.
  • Open to all art professionals of all ages, internationally.
  • All kinds of art works are acceptable for this contest, including videos, installations, and performance arts.

 

The deadline for applications is on the 10th of November, 2021.
