The Quotes from the Authors

Authors and poets write many books and poetry and then there’s that one quote that reaches into you. Some of the quotes even set you thinking and remain with you all through life. Here’s a list of some of my favourite quotes. We hope you will like them too.

“We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.”
—J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
“A creative man is motivated by the desire to achieve, not by the desire to beat others.”
― Ayn Rand
“[Dean] “My dear fellow, who will let you?”
[Roark] “That’s not the point. The point is, who will stop me?”
― Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead
We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them.
Khalil Gibran
“When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?
Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra
“Some people are nobody’s enemies but their own”
