Young professionals are invited to apply for a year-long fellowship at an American host institute. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and proven track record of public service in the community. The scholarship will cover all the expenses. Application process is ongoing.
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme enhances leadership among international professionals who collaborate to address local and global challenges.
Through academic study and professional development with U.S. counterparts, this growing global network shares best practices and builds expertise in fields of critical importance.
The fellowship will include a year-long Humphrey seminar, academic enrichment at a selected US university, professional development, participation in the Washington Global Leadership Forum, and English language courses.
Candidates applying for the fellowship may choose one of the several fields.
They include economic development, finance and banking, human resources management, rights and freedoms, communications/journalism, urban and regional planning, international religious freedom, law and human rights, teaching of English as a foreign language, and more.
The fellowship covers tuition fees at the assigned host university, pre-academic English language training (if required), a living allowance, insurance, book allowance, air travel, and more.

Main Criteria
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree and a minimum of five years of full-time, professional experience.
Limited or no prior experience in the United States is required.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their demonstrated leadership qualities and a record of public service in the community.
