Fellows will be placed on teaching teams with Stanford faculty and other fellows in three different courses, one each in autumn, winter and spring quarters.
There are two types of course formats: stand-alone seminars and lecture courses with sections.
Depending on their placement, a fellow will either teach two seminars in the same subject or they will lead two discussion sections attached to a faculty-led lecture.
The appointment begins August 1, 2021 for a two-year term that is renewable for one additional year based on programmatic need and job performance.
Annual starting salary will be approximately $71,000 with a supplemental stipend of $2,000 for research and scholarship.
The deadline is on Tuesday 16th February 2021.
Applicants should provide evidence of experience with and a commitment to teaching and mentoring a broadly diverse undergraduate student body.
Other desired qualifications are intellectual flexibility; familiarity with team teaching, and demonstrated experience with developing students’ skills in critical thinking, writing, discussion, and analysis.
They seek candidates from all fields in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM. Eligible candidates will have earned a doctorate in any fields in the humanities, social sciences, and STEM.
