Singapore International Graduate Award

Singapore is considered to be the financial hub of Asia. A developed country that keeps growing at the economic rate that developing countries do. The population of the country is multicultural and broadly it has four major ethnic groups in addition to people from all over the world. These are Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian. The influence of these reflects wherever you go including on the cuisine.

Apply for the Singapore International Graduate Award

The Singapore International Graduate Award goes out from an association among the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research; the Nanyang Technological University, the National University of Singapore, and the Singapore University of Technology and design. More info.

Area of Study

PhD training in English language. The students will receive supervision and guidance from their well recognized researchers.

The research areas fall under two major categories:

  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Physical Science and Engineering

Eligibility

The program is open to all graduates from any part of the world and exceptional references will be required apart from a good command over written and spoken English.

Award

The award covers tuition fees, monthly stipend of S$ 2,000 which is increased to S$ 2,500 after you pass the qualifying exam, airfare up to a maximum of S$ 1,500 plus a settling in allowance of S$ 1,000
