Students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree in Beijing, China are invited to apply for the Schwarzman Scholarship. This programme covers all the expenses associated with the one-year master’s degree and leadership programme in English. The deadline is on Tuesday 21st September 2021.
Schwarzman Scholarship is a fully-funded, one-year master’s degree and leadership programme at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
At the heart of the programme are world-renowned advisers, a rigorous and innovative study of global affairs, and hands-on exploration of Chinese culture and commerce.
The core curriculum equips scholars with the knowledge they need to navigate China’s role in the global economy and global affairs.
Scholars may choose from elective courses, which they can tailor to satisfy individual career goals while gaining a deeper understanding of the three pillars of the curriculum: China, leadership, and global affairs.
Scholars are required to complete a capstone project that consists of a research paper, case study or policy analysis and can be completed individually or in a group.
Students receive a comprehensive scholarship that covers tuition fees, room and board, in-country study tour, international travel, health insurance, and a stipend for personal expenses.
The deadline is on Tuesday 21st September 2021.
Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrolment year (for the current selection cycle, as of August 1, 2022).
The application form must be completed in English. These documents are required:
- Resume, two essays, transcript/academic records
- Three letters of recommendation, video Introduction
