Mount Waialeale – a volcano and the second highest point on the island of Kauaʻi in the Hawaiian Islands. It means “rippling water” or “overflowing water“ receives rain 360 rainy days a year.
Driest Place – The Atacama Desert, stretching from Peru to Chile. Some stations in this desert have never recorded a single drop of rain. In other places there is very low rainfall.
