Private Partnerships Internship at World Food Programme in Korea

Students and recent graduates with knowledge of Korean are invited for a communications intern position in Seoul. You will receive a monthly stipend of up to $1,000 and a reimbursement of your travel tickets. The deadline is on 7 July 2020.

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies, and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience. WPF is currently seeking an intern to fill a Communications intern position in their WFP Korea Office, based in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Under the direct supervision of Private Partnerships Officer, the incumbent on this internship will assist in implementing Zero Waste, Zero Hunger Campaign, assist in establishing and managing private sector partnership of WFP Seoul Office, develop new strategies to better secure and steward public-private sector partners and donors and translate information in Korea and/or English.

This WFP Internship on Private Partnerships at South Korea is a paid position. Candidates will receive a monthly stipend from WFP of up to US$1000. For nationals of developing countries pursuing their studies at home, the organization will reimburse the travel tickets.

Main criteria

  • Candidates should be currently enrolled with at least two years of undergraduate studies completed, or recently graduated in one or more of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration, Political Science, International Relations, International Development/Cooperation, Economics, Public Administration, Public Relations, or other relevant fields
  • Working knowledge of a second UN language would be an asset. Fundraising experience and work experience or previous internship experience is a significant advantage. Working knowledge of English (proficiency/level C) and Korean (proficiency/level C) is required
