Photography is your passion but you feel that you don’t have enough knowledge about art and photography? Here is something specially for you - a photography competition exclusively for beginners. Deadline to submit your works is August 15th.
The competition is organized by a group of students and professionals from various fields of art and design in India who believe that classrooms and studios can be spiced up a little to make them more interesting. The idea is to encourage young people to click more beautiful photographs and not to intimidate them in any way that would keep them away from it.
“We don’t want you to follow any deep, intense theme to create an impressive photograph. Just submit a picture that you have clicked, one that you think is really great, along with a caption, that’s it!” written in the description of the event.
Young people from all over the world are welcome to apply.
Prizes
First prize – Camera Bag (or Rs 5,000) + certificate
Second Prize – Tripod stand (or Rs 3,000) + certificate
Plus 5 honorable mentions with certificates
