Several three-month full-time internships are offered for students in political science, economics, law, administration, and journalism. Interns will receive a €300 monthly allowance while working in Berlin, Germany. The deadline is on 30 September 2020.

Paid internships at SWP: The Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik in Berlin is a civil-law foundation and the founding institution behind the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP).

It advises the Bundestag and the federal government on foreign and security policy issues.

Interns are based at offices in Berlin-Wilmersdorf and the daily responsibilities include general administrative tasks, assisting with tasks within the research division and preparing reports of conferences and meetings.

Additionally, they will be involved in literature research, editing academic texts, researching and evaluating materials and more. Internships will start in January 2021.

The deadline is on 30 September 2020.

 

Main criteria

  • Students should possess a Bachelor’s degree and/or be studying towards their Master’s degree
  • You should demonstrate good knowledge of English, proficiency in Microsoft Suite and interest in policy consultation and communication
  • As part of your application, you will need to provide a motivational letter and a CV
