Paid Internship In London And Manchester

British Council is accepting applications for 2016 Summer Internship Scheme. There are 10 internships available. All summer internships are in organisation's UK offices between 20 June and 2 September. All interns will be paid a salary of £15,000 pro rata. Deadline to apply is February 14.

The British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities,  each year looks to bring fresh ideas to the organisation by taking on 10 interns over the summer. You get to learn new skills while on a paid internship and kick start to your international career.

You will have one area of work to focus on but you will have the opportunity to learn about all of work across a number of areas and functions including Music, Science, Policy and External Relations teams and many more.

Main criteria:

  • You must currently be a student, in at least your second year at University, and on target for a 2:1 in any degree discipline, or you may also have graduated; from your Bachelor’s degree in 2015 achieving a 2:1 or above;
  • You must hold at least a grade C or equivalent in Maths and English at GCSE;
  • You must have the right to work in the UK without restriction for the duration of the programme.
