Muskie Internship For Fulbright Students In The US

Fulbright students currently studying in the US are invited to participate in a fully funded three-month internship program specifically tailored to provide practical skills in private, public, and non-profit sectors. Interns will receive a monthly stipend and have their travel expenses covered. The deadline is on 1 December 2020.

Muskie Internship in the US: The Edmund S. Muskie Internship Program is a summer internship program funded by the U.S.

Department of State since 2015 that provides emerging leaders of the Fulbright Program from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia with the opportunity to gain real-world experience complementing and enriching their graduate studies in the United States.

Interns will experience different approaches used in the private, public and non-profit sectors in the U.S. and learn how different U.S. government agencies, NGOs, and businesses work together to address new trends and challenges.

The program will assist with summer internship search and placement, mentorship support throughout the program duration. Interns will participate in a three-month-long professional internship in their respective field of study.

As a part of virtual learning, participants will take part in professional development webinars.

The support provided by the U.S. Department of State will cover travel from campus to the orientation in Washington, D.C, dodging, meals, and program activities during the orientation, and monthly stipend to assist cost of living.

The deadline is on 1 December 2020.

 

Main Criteria

Applicants must currently be a Fulbright Foreign Student, and must be currently studying towards a graduate degree at a U.S. college or university.

Applicants must be a citizen of one of the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Moldova, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine or Uzbekistan.
