The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, grants a limited number of tuition fee scholarships to highly qualified applicants. The language of instruction is English. The funding depends on the applicant’s chosen programme, academic performance and the country of origin.
Charles University was founded in 1348, making it one of the oldest universities in the world.
It is the largest and most renowned Czech university, and is also the best-rated Czech university according to international rankings.
The scholarship is open to candidates applying for the Master’s Programmes in Mathematics.
These are the programmes in computational mathematics, financial and insurance mathematics, mathematical analysis, mathematical structures, mathematics for information technologies, probability, mathematical statistics and econometrics, mathematical modelling in physics and technology.
Candidates may be invited for an online interview in mid-May 2021 for further assessment.
A successful candidate will be expected to study full-time and complete the programme in two years.
The deadline is on Friday 30th April 2021.

Applicants should provide a CV, a motivation letter, list of publications, transcripts, and two letters of recommendation.
