Lunar and Planetary Institute Summer Internship

A 10-week summer internship at the Lunar and Planetary institute for aspiring space scientists in University.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work alongside planetary experts and space scientists? The Lunar and Planetary Institute located next to the NASA Johnson Space Center, is hosting an opportunity for worldwide interns. During the 10-week summer program, interns will gain valuable research experience and knowledge in astro sciences. 

 

Eligibility

University students with over 50 hours of credits are eligible to apply to the internship. Selection is based on scholarship, criterion, and experience, as well as specific interests and available research projects. 

 

Application Process

Applicants need to apply using an online application form. Transcripts and recommendation letters may be sent in separately. If you are a foreign national, you must provide proof of English proficiency through one of these accepted methods: TOEFL, IELTS score, or a letter from one of the professors in the English department at your college confirming that you have sufficient spoken and written English language skills to successfully participate in the internship program.

 

Deadline

The deadline for applications is December 13th 2021, at 11:59pm CST. The program in 2022 will run from June 6th 2022, to August 12, 2022.
