International Youth Forum on Interfaith Dialogue on Violent Extremism

The annual iDove Intercontinental Youth Forum provides a valuable platform for young activists, academics, creatives & policy makers from Africa and Europe to share experiences and ideas on preventing violent extremism (PVE). The deadline is on 30 June 2019.

The conference will take place on 18– 20 September 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Third Intercontinental Youth Forum will focus on the current challenge of rehabilitating and reintegrating (R&R) foreign fighters and other returnees.

Participants will benefit from exploring the communalities and differences on PVE in different world regions, gain insights from invited experts and speakers, and develop skills on project management.

Participation costs, including travel and accommodation, will be covered by the organizers.

Main criteria

  • You are between 18 and 35 years old;
  • You are a citizen or resident of a European or an African country;
  • You are fluent in either English or French.
