BASF is a German chemical company and the largest chemical producer in the world. They combine economic success with environmental protection and social responsibility. The company’s portfolio is organized into six segments: chemicals, materials, industrial solutions, surface technologies, nutrition & care and agricultural solutions. BASF’s Asia Pacific regional headquarters is located in Hong Kong and had 467 employees by the end of 2019.

Human Resources team provides services to businesses on a key account basis and is responsible for all HR matters for employees based in Hong Kong. As part of the local HR team, you will be reporting to Head/Senior Manager and support the team in day-to-day HR operations and projects. Tasks will include project planning and implementation of Operational HR Excellence projects, maintaining HR data, and assisting in event coordination. This is a paid part-time internship. Candidates will commit to minimum of 16 hours/week from mid-summer to December 2020.

Main criteria

  • Candidates should be Bachelor’s students in human resources, psychology, business administration or related disciplines
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese is required. Having SAP knowledge is a plus point
