Internship in Hong Kong: The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) is an independent statutory body set up in 1989 to regulate Hong Kong’s securities and futures markets.
As a financial regulator in an international financial centre, the SFC strives to strengthen and protect the integrity and soundness of Hong Kong’s securities and futures markets for the benefit of investors and the industry.
Interns will assist the various departments of the SFC in their operations. This may include assisting with ad hoc tasks, providing support through conducting basic research, compiling reports, filing of documents, updating of systems and other drafting work.
Applicants from all academic and professional backgrounds are welcomed.
Some positions may require specific skills and qualifications. A shortlisted applicant is notified by telephone and email. The process usually takes place within six months from the date of application.
The deadline is on 4 December 2020.
Interns should be in their penultimate year of study, majoring in Law, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or Information Technology. Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills are required.
Candidates should possess a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese are mandatory.
