Healthcare Policy Internship in Brussels, Belgium

The European Healthcare Distribution Association is accepting applications for a mandatory 6-month internship, starting in March 2021. Candidates should show practical skills, high motivation for work, flexibility, a dynamic attitude, and team spirit. The deadline is on 18 December 2020.

The European Healthcare Distribution Association

GIRP, the European Healthcare Distribution Association, is the umbrella organisation for full-service healthcare distributors in Europe. It represents the national associations of over 750 pharmaceutical wholesalers serving 34 European countries, as well as major international and pan-European healthcare distribution companies.

Interns will assist with the organisation of the GIRP Annual Conference, GIRP Supply Chain Conference, and other workshops and conferences. Additional duties will include researching, editing, and writing input for GIRP’s numerous publications, compiling PowerPoint presentations for internal meetings, conducting research, and managing GIRP’s internet presence. This experience will provide interns first-hand exposure to the Brussels lobbying scene, insight into the European pharmaceutical market and health policy sector in general and the sector of pharmaceutical full-line wholesaling in particular. Housing and transportation costs are covered.

The deadline is on 18 December 2020.

 

Main criteria

Interns must be enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the traineeship. The traineeship must be mandatory in the candidate’s study program. Interns must be fluent in English. Affinity for graphic design (Photoshop, InDesign) is desired.  Knowledge of German and/or Portuguese is preferred, other languages are an asset.
