Graduate Research Scholarships at University of Melbourne

Students wishing to pursue postgraduate-level education at the University of Melbourne are invited to apply for the graduate research scholarships. Scholars will benefit from a 100% fee remission and a living allowance of $31,200 per year. Application process is ongoing.

Graduate Research Scholarships that provide a stipend as well as fee offset are awarded to domestic and international students based on academic merit.

These scholarships include the Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRS) and the Australian Government Research Training Programme (RTP) Scholarships. 

Students will benefit from a full fee offset for up to two years for students undertaking a Master’s by Research degree or up to four years for students undertaking a doctoral degree.

A living allowance of $31,200 per year, a relocation grant, and a health insurance will be provided. Candidates will be evaluated based on relevant professional experience and refereed publications.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or be currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne
