Global Banking Internship at HSBC in London

Global Banking Internships will inspire you to apply your skills in an international business and allow you to explore your interests within either Corporate Banking or Investment Banking. The internship is designed for upper-classmen and recent graduates. Internships last from 5-16 weeks and placements are available in corporate and investment banking. The start date is in June 2021. The deadline is on 5 January 2021.

HSBC is one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations. They operate through their global businesses: Wealth and Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, and Global Banking & Markets. Covering the network of 64 countries and territories in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, North America and Latin America, they work with more than 40 million customers.

Regardless of what subject you have studied, on this competitively paid internship you will explore the Corporate Banking or Investment Banking at HSBC. In Corporate Banking, you will gain first-hand experience of how relationship managers, working closely with product specialists, create innovative solutions to meet the banking needs of the largest corporate and institutional clients. You will learn how the company can incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance into client solutions, ranging from sustainable supply chains to raising green bond. As intern in Investment Banking, you will be working alongside senior team members and industry experts. You will develop and deepen your skills and financial knowledge and get a broad overview of the different activities and products offered by HSBC globally.

The deadline is on 5 January 2021.

 

Main criteria

You will have obtained at least 300 UCAS points pre-September 2017 and 120 post September 2017 in accordance with UCAS Tariff changes across your top three A2 Levels or equivalent, excluding General Studies (AS Levels and GCSEs are not considered). You will have achieved or will be on track to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 Degree classification / 3.2 GPA or higher or overseas equivalent to this. You will be UK nationally mobile. Be fluent in English.
