Girl Up Scholarship Fund To Support Undergraduate Students

Prospective and current undergraduate students who self-identify as girls are invited to apply for the Girl Up Scholarship Fund opportunity.

Girl Up is a global movement whose leadership development programmes have impacted 85,500 girls through 4,500 clubs in nearly 125 countries and all 50 US states.

They are inspiring a generation of girls to be a force for gender equality and social change.

Candidates should be enrolled in a two- or four-year programme by the time of funds disbursement.

High school seniors are eligible to apply, too. Funds will go directly to the higher education institution the winner is attending.

The scholarship application consists of four essays that cover your background, your aspirations, previous leadership experience, gender equality, and either storytelling, sports, or STEM.

Certain emphasis is put on participants extracurricular activities and community service.

One video essay, a letter of recommendation and a biography are required.

The deadline is on Monday 17th May 2021.

Main Criteria
