Frontier Economic Internship in Cologne, Germany

Current students or recent graduates with a bachelor degree in economics are invited to take part in a 8-12 internship at Frontier, an economics consultancy that works across Europe. Interns will benefit from exposure to analytical projects and the opportunity to launch their career upon completion of the internship. The deadline is on 29 January 2021.

Frontier Economic Internship

Frontier is an economics consultancy that tackles the big questions facing governments, businesses and society. They help their clients analyse and understand their markets and to formulate strategies based on sound economics. Frontier uses analysis to provide insight into complex situations, giving clients jargon-free opinions and results that can withstand even the closest scrutiny.

Typical internships, in all offices in Brussels, Berlin, Cologne, Dublin, London, Paris and Madrid, run for 8 to 12 weeks. Longer internships that last from 6 to 12 months are available to those who have already obtained their undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Your responsibilities will include delivering a robust and accurate technical or theoretical analysis, contributing to the writing of reports or notes, and applying economic frameworks, ranging from economic equilibrium theory to econometric modelling. Interns will work with Frontier economists across EMEA. During your internship you will find yourself working in project teams with analysts, consultants and directors. After your internship you can apply to become an analyst.

Main criteria

Undergraduate students with predicted or obtained 2:1 university degree in Economics or equivalent are eligible to apply. Strong interest and understanding of micro-economics and Excel skills are required.
