Free Online Courses at Stanford University

Ranked 4th by the World University Rankings is currently offering a vast range of free online courses. Most of the courses are self paced.

These courses offered via edX which was created by Harvard and MIT can also fetch a certification at a small fee. Most of the courses are self paced.

Once you browse their website you will find courses on Relational Database and SQL, Online Analytical Processing, Essential of Program Strategy and Evaluation or even Disaster Medicine Training and a vast number of other courses.

Their courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced teaching professionals. For many of the courses you will have to go through a pre and a post test at the beginning and the end. Teaching is also facilitated using video lectures.

Their website is user friendly and you will find sections on what you will learn and will also get to meet your instructors virtually.

If you are to opt for their instructor signed certificate with the logo of Stanford it surely adds to your prospects when you look for a job.
