What is Financial Planning? GoPro is an American technology company founded in 2002. It manufactures action cameras and develops its own mobile apps and video-editing software.
Founded as Woodman Labs, Inc, the company eventually focused on the connected sports genre, developing its line of action cameras and, later, video editing software.
For this financial role, the company offers a six-month financial planning and analysis internship where candidates will be based in the Amsterdam office.
Interns will work in a fresh and dynamic atmosphere that offers challenges paired up with an international working environment with great learning opportunities to start a finance career.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the FP&A team on forecasting financials and reviewing departmental spending and analyzing the financials for the credit analysis of current and potential customers.
Additionally, interns will track spend and perform ad hoc analysis and investigate drivers of spending within the business units and translate into insight for monthly reporting and forecasting.

Main criteria
- Candidates must be working towards a BS degree in Accounting or Finance or a Master’s Degree or MBA
- Strong interest in financial planning and analysis and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
- Candidates should demonstrate above-average communication skills, attentiveness to detail, and accuracy
