Financial Crime Internship At INTERPOL

Candidates from any of INTERPOL’s 194 member states are invited to apply for a paid internship in financial crime. The six-month internship will take place in Lyon, France. Estimated starting date is Thursday April 1st 2021. The deadline is on Friday 5th March 2021.

INTERPOL is the world’s largest international police organisation, with 194 member states.

Created in 1923, it facilitates cross-border police co-operation, and supports and assists all organizations, authorities, and services whose mission is to prevent or combat international crime.

The intern will provide administrative support for the Financial Crime Unit in relation to Cyber Enabled Financial Crimes Project. Topics covered will include open source research in regards to specific types of financial crime, crime incidents, academic studies, and publications.

Interns are entitled to the payment of a monthly allowance of €550.

The deadline is on Friday 5th March 2021.

 

Main Criteria

  • Candidates should be currently enrolled or have recently graduated with qualifications in international relations, law or criminology.
  • No work experience is required. Internship experience in an office setting or an international organization will be considered an asset.
  • Professional fluency in English and Arabic is required.
