The courses are available through Blueprint, Facebook’s global training program, and focus on the three core pillars of the news cycle: discovering content, creating stories, and building an audience. Each module contains case studies in journalism as well as best practices and guidelines from Facebook. Courses include “How journalists can best utilize Facebook and Instagram,” along with product courses on Facebook Live, 360° videos & photos and Instant Articles.
The platform also offers a guide for journalists explaining how to get started on Facebook or simply grow their presence and is starting a series of webinars tailored to journalists.
