Eliza Moore Fellowship for Artistic Excellence 2021

Visual artists, literary artists, dancers, and musicians are invited to compete for a $10,000 award to complete a four-week fellowship in Virginia, USA. Applicants should be developing new works that address plants, gardens, or landscapes in the broad sense. The deadline is on 12 August 2020.

The Oak Spring Garden Foundation is an operating foundation dedicated to sharing the ideas of Rachel Mellon. She was an American horticulturalist who designed and planted a number of significant gardens, including the White House Rose Garden. Its mission is to support and inspire fresh thinking and bold action on the history and future of plants, including the art and culture of plants, gardens and landscapes.

The only requirement during their time at Oak Spring will be to give one 45-minute presentation with time for questions, to Oak Spring staff and any other fellows or residents who might be on site.

The deadline is on 12 August 2020.
