Though aura readers have existed since time immemorial, here finally was scientific evidence of auras through corona discharge photography and what eventually came to be known as Kirlian photography way back in 1939. Since then several other inventors have tried improving on the process and patenting it themselves, as happens with many original developments.
Studies with humans have indicated that the result of photographs that are taken with the corona discharge process has a variability that depends on many factors. These include emotional conditions for example the level of stress one is suffering from in some and the level of relaxation that an individual is capable of, in others. The process further goes on to show the physical condition of a human, even something as trivial as tiredness or a state as serious as preliminary onset of illness.
Stanley Krippner of the American Society of Psychosomatic Dentistry and Medicine published a paper titled “biological Applications of Kirlian Photography”
We also interviewed Mr. Krippner in one of our earlier interviews.
There is even a non profit organization that was founded in 1974 known as The International Kirlian Research Association which correlates, standardizes and promotes research into corona discharge photography.
Among many other scientists who have carried out research on corona discharge photography or what many of us call auras are David Boyers and William Tiller.
So think again before you go cynical with someone who talks about auras.
