Deloitte One Young World Scholarship 2020

Applications are invited from young minds around the world with leadership potential for the Deloitte – One Young World Scholarship 2020. The scholarship aims at sponsoring 10 awardees to attend the One Young World Summit 2020 at Munich, Germany on 14 – 17 October 2020.

The annual Deloitte One Young World Summit convenes the brightest young talent from every country and sector, working to accelerate social impact. Delegates from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Paul Polman and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures.

The deadline is on 22 May 2020.

At Deloitte, they are collaborating with stakeholders across the business, government and civil society to prepare 50 million lives for a world of opportunity by 2030. They are applying core skills, experience, and global reach to make an impact through education, skills development, and access to opportunity, in line with SDG 4 – Quality Education and SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth. Winners should demonstrate commitment to providing youth in their local communities with creating skills or lifelong learning opportunities or accelerating entrepreneurship and new types of employment. Winners will receive access to the One Young World Summit 2020, accommodation, catering, and travel costs covered.

 

Main criteria

  • This scholarship is for young leaders focused on improving the education for people in their communities, countries, or world at large
  • The scholarship is seeking candidates who have demonstrated commitment to improving access to education, skills, or employment opportunities for those that may be left behind by the rapidly changing global economy
