Students from ASEAN countries, Korea, and Japan are invited to apply for the fully-funded AVIS+ (ASEAN-Vietnam ICT Scholarship) Undergraduate Program of Information Technology taught in English. The deadline is on 31 August 2020.

Opportunity for scholarship for students from ASEAN countries

 

ASEAN-Vietnam ICT Scholarship is the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam to enhance the human resource development of ASEAN nations plus Korea and Japan in the field of ICT. The scholarship program is carried out by the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology with the financial sponsorship of Vietnamese enterprises.

The scholarship targets young talented students who are expected to play a pioneer role in the ICT development of their countries. The program provides full scholarships to qualified students to study four-year undergraduate program in Information Technology taken at Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Vietnam. The objective of the program is to strengthen ICT capacities in ASEAN countries plus Korea and Japan through providing the opportunities to obtain Engineer’s degree in Information Technology taken at PTIT, a leading ICT university in Vietnam. AVIS+ is a full scholarship program that covers tuition fees, two round-trip international flights, settle-in allowance, accommodation, monthly stipend and health insurance.

The deadline is on 31 August 2020.

 

Main criteria

  • The scholarship is open to students aged 18 to 25
  • Candidates should provide a high school diploma, official academic transcript, certificate of health examination, and self-written application letter
  • Candidates should be citizens of the ASEAN countries, Korea, or Japan and be residing in corresponding home countries at the time of application
