International students are invited to apply for fellowships and scholarship offered by the ACI Foundation. The company aims to help student further their studies and acquire the industry-based experience. The award cycle for this application period is the 2022 fall semester through the 2023 spring semester. The deadline is on Tuesday 2nd November 2021.
The ACI Foundation is a not-for profit organisation established by the American Concrete Institute to promote progress, innovation, and collaboration by supporting research and scholarships, while also serving as an independent resource to provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the concrete industry.
Each student is limited for the duration of their studies to receiving no more than one fellowship and one scholarship from the ACI Foundation.
If chosen as a finalist, you will need to attend an interview in person at the spring ACI Concrete Convention on March 27, 2022.
Travel, registration, and hotel arrangements will be made through and paid for by the ACI Foundation.
All travel will be contingent upon country and state restrictions at that time. If in-person interviews can not occur, the process will be virtual.
The deadline is on Tuesday 2nd November 2021.
Main Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a full-time student in an undergraduate, master’s or PhD program during the entire award cycle.
All applicants must submit the following five items.
- Applicant’s contact and educational information.
- A resume – Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or Acrobat Adobe (.pdf) format
- A 500-word essay.
- Official transcripts – English language & with a 4.0 grading scale
- Two endorsements
