The Shining (1980)
The trio Stanley Kubrick, the director, Stephen King, the writer and Jack Nicholson, who plays the main character Jack Torrance, have created an anxious and a realistic personification of madness in this horror movie.
The Stanley Hotel of 1909 inspired the author. The hotel is considered one of the scariest places in the U.S. The spirits of the owners after they died are believed to be present at the hotel. The paranormal activities at the hotel include incidents such as suitcases being unpacked by the ghosts.
50 First Dates (2004)
This drama has many funny and touching situations. Lucy played by Drew Barrymore, suffers from short term amnesia and never remembers her dates with Henry, played by Adam Sandler. Catch me if you can (2002)
Here is something just unbelievable. Frank W. Abagnale (Leonardo DiCaprio) between the age of 16 to 21 years lived a truly breathtaking lifestyle. After the divorce of his parents he ran away from home and generally rebelled against the world. He created fake Id’s, cheques and even a lawyers diploma; pretended to be an airline pilot, a doctor and an attorney. Nothing was too big for him. He was finally arrested by FBI agent Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks) and sentenced to 12 years in prison. He got an early release and worked legitimately for the FBI with Carl Hanratty as an expert in, what else, fraud. He and Carl Hanratty became the closest of friends.
This film, a drama based on the boxer’s life, Rocky Balboa, a rank outsider, played by Sylvester Stallone gets his opportunity to box against a champion. Sylvester Stallone was inspired by Chuck Wepner and made this movie. While it’s not entirely a true story it is nonetheless based on actual incidents.

The one they fall in love with has a little bonus attached to it, a ZOO (the Rosemoor Wildlife Park in California). The film was inspired by the Dartmoor Zoological Park in Devon, England.
