Native English speakers are welcome to volunteer abroad and discover 7+ European countries for free, having board and lodging in Malta, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Ireland or England for 3 to 11 days and help people improve their English through a series of conversations and activities.

Young people who are looking for opportunities to travel the world with low budget and volunteer at the same time are welcome to join HelpX network. It is an online listing of host organic farms, farmstays, homestays, ranches, lodges, B&Bs, backpackers hostels and even sailing boats who invite volunteer helpers to stay with them short-term in exchange for food and accommodation.

The Aleksanteri Institute Visiting Fellows Programme provides an opportunity for highly qualified scholars in Russian and Eastern European studies to visit the Aleksanteri Institute and the University of Helsinki for a period of one to three months.
