As soon as an individual becomes an adult, irrespective of his or her origin, gender, or personal qualities, he/she inherits one really huge and heavy reality which will never go away – the requirement to take responsibility. The more you grow, the more achievements you realize, and simply the further you move on from a happy child’s world, where everything comes to you almost immediately and effortlessly, the greater will be the responsibilities that you will be required to take on.

Let’s play a little word association game here. I’m giving you a ‘choice’. How will you reply? This article is for those who think about ‘stress’, ‘impossibility’, ‘challenge’ or ‘trouble’. Why does the decision-making process seem to be so difficult for us? Why do we have a dilemma in our minds every time it comes to making a choice between two or more equally attractive or unattractive options? There are some rules we have to follow and some mistakes we always make. Take a look at the list and try to analyze your own algorithm of making decisions.

Where are you now? How are you living, right at the moment? What is this moment about? Are you really living it here and now? Too many questions to begin with: the present moment. However, the importance of it is more than one might think.  The point is that the vast majority of our modern “all the time in a hurry” society tends to see life as a marathon, where every person is in a race for achievements, realization of plans, dreams and goals, etc. Eventually, upon arriving right there, at the finish of your life marathon, you start to understand that there is actually something missing.  And the more you think about it, the bigger this something becomes. This is because that part is your entire life. The life that has been lost in the race. The life that will never be repeated, from the starting point.
