At this moment, some 80 million young people are sitting in their classrooms in high schools across all 28 countries of the European Union (EU). Some of them are following their teachers’ lectures, some others are reading, and some of them are studying with their classmates. But regardless of the fact that at the age of 15, nearly 100 percent of the EU population is still taking part in formal education, education experts across the Union are worried about what young people are learning, or not learning, in schools.
